# Introduction

[Poko](https://www.pompokosol.xyz/) is our innovative application tailored for the Solana blockchain community, created as a proactive solution to the challenges of unsafe trading practices that have become all too common.

Acknowledging the risks of scams and fraudulent activities, in which developers will run away with investment funds or manipulate the market for their own good. [Poko](https://www.pompokosol.xyz/) aims to safeguard the interests of both developers and investors. Our platform is a secure, transparent space where legitimate developers can list their token projects, and investors can confidently explore and assess these opportunities.

The name [Poko](https://www.pompokosol.xyz/) is born out of inspiration from the heartwarming tale of unity and resilience showcased in the movie "Pom Poko," where a group of tanuki bands together against urban development threatening their home.
